For today, I would like you to create a short 2 or 3 paragraph story (longer if you choose) to describe an event where weather or a natural disaster is the enemy, challenge, or problem. It could involve getting to school through a lightning storm, experiencing and earthquake or volcano while on vacation, or a blackout while visiting the Sears (Willis) tower. Maybe a pet escapes your house while a tornado is approaching or a hail storm suddenly appears while you are at a sporting event. You get the idea. Be creative and descriptive. Try to transport the reader into your creative tale.
